In the Summer of 2008, Space: Glory Through Conquest was up for sale. If no buyer could be found, it would be the end of the game. Zero Sum Games, LLC was formed by players of the game, to repair it, publicize it, and improve it. The group includes people from all walks of life and from all over the world. As the future of Space:GTC has solidified into one of great promise, so has that of ZSG: To operate and create the best online games in the world!
About ColdFire Studios
Established in 1999, ColdFire Studios created games with the idea that free games should be just as good as ones you pay for. In service to this lofty goal they created two of the webs best games, Space: Glory Through Conquest and War of Supremacy. Due to their work, that of many volunteers, and dedicated fans, Space became one of the most popular web-based games in the world.
Over time, Coldfire Studios turned to other areas of internet commerce and lost interest in the maintenance/development of their games. This led to the sale of War of Supremacy in 2006, and the sale of Space: Glory Through Conquest in 2008.
